Furry Friends is excited to offer discounted Avid FriendChip ID microchipping for dogs and cats at the Peace & Justice Fair. Stop by our booth at the north side of Esther Short Park on Saturday, September 10 from 9am - 2pm. Chips will be implanted for a donation of only $20 per pet by volunteer veterinarian technicians inside an enclosed tent. We will complete and submit the registration paperwork. Unlike other brands, there are no annual fees. This unique permanent identification gives your lost pet a much better chance of coming home. We'll also be showing cats ready for adoption from 9:00am-4:00pm (depending on the weather). This will give the public an opportunity to learn more about the care of cats and the mission of Furry Friends.
