My name is Casanova. I am aptly named as everyone loves me, and I demand my share of attention. I am a 1 1/2 year old handsome, buff colored, long-haired male tabby.
Where Casanova came from:
Casanova came from a trailer park where Furry Friends had been doing some cat trapping and the resident had moved out and left him behind. None of the neighbors wanted to take him in, so he was abandoned.
What Casanova has to say:
"My name is Casanova. I am aptly named as everyone loves me, and I demand my share of attention. I am a 1 1/2 year old handsome, buff colored, long-haired male tabby. I am so grateful to be rescued, as I was malnourished with an infected incisor, burnt pads, and dirt fleas. Furry Friends gave me a lion cut, food, medical care, and a safe place to rest, and I was about to be adopted, when I was diagnosed with diabetes and feline herpes. I was stressed out by the alpha males, ravenous, thirsty, and peed a lot at the Halfway House. A switch to diabetic food gave me diarrhea, so I was a bit of a mess for awhile, but Furry Friends' loving care got me through that. I require insulin at the same time twice daily, so a volunteer who had experience with another diabetic cat, brought me home as a permanent foster. My foster mom says I bring joy to her life. I am very helpful: I am a reliable "rise & shine" alarm clock, always remind her of meal times, point out any bugs that may enter the house, and from the window ledge alert her of any birds or squirrels foraging in the yard. I am very curious, loving, and entertaining, following my foster mom about the house with toy in mouth. I can be a purring lap cat, but since I am on only pet, I can plop down stress free anywhere after an energetic playtime. My herpes is in remission. My diabetes improved. So you can see, life is now good, thanks to care from Furry Friends."
