    I authorize Furry Friends to print and distribute the above Personal Contact Information to other volunteers.

    Furry Friends does not carry insurance to cover me as a volunteer. I understand that there is a possibility of health or injury risk to humans and personal pets when caring for rescued animals and I hereby agree to hold Furry Friends harmless from any and all liability, damage or personal injury resulting from volunteer service.

  • Foster Home Requirements:

    1. Foster cat(s)/kitten(s) are to remain indoors only.
    2. If renting, be able to provide proof cat(s)/kitten(s) are allowed and deposits paid.
    3. Be available for home visits from FF volunteers and applicants interested in adopting one of your fosters. If you prefer that applicants not come to your home then you must be available to bring the cat(s)/kitten(s) to the halfway house or other location for a meet and greet.
    4. Use only the food and litter we provide, unless approved by FF.
    5. Be available to transport cat(s)/kitten(s) to veterinary appointments as scheduled by FF.
    6. Notify FF of developing behavior or physical issues that may be of concern.
    7. Be willing and able to spend the time necessary to socialize and play with your fosters.
    8. Supervise all child interactions with the cat(s)/kitten(s).
    9. Give at least 10 days to 2 weeks notice if foster care can no longer be provided.
    10. Be diligent in updating and recording any medical information on the cat(s)/kitten(s) while in your care.
    11. Return all documents, food, litter, medications, bedding, etc. belonging to FF when cat(s)/kitten(s) is adopted or returned to FF care.
    12. Be available to assist FF adoption team members with applications and delivery.
