“After losing my 14-year-old brother and sister cats within two months of each other, I was hesitant to adopt because I’m a senior and didn’t want an active kitten. Then, on the Furry Friends website, I saw photos of Bailey, a 6-year-old female tuxedo.
“Those photos showcased her personality and I had to meet her. She was everything I could want in a cat, very friendly and outgoing, fearless actually. She not only took quickly to her new home, she wants to be with me all the time. She even cries at the screen door to get my attention when I’m working in the garden. And it’s amazing how much she likes to play! She may wear me out, but she still has to sleep beside her new mom every night.”
