“Bruce, boasting a Batman cape as befits a cat with his name, is the first kitty I’ve had on my own,” says Mike. “And Bruce is and always will be his name!

“As someone living alone, and needing an indoor kitty, the fact that Bruce was FIV+ made him an ideal fit. When I met him, it was love at first sight. His adjustment to living with me was almost immediate. It only took him about 30 minutes to explore his new environment and start making himself at home.

“Bruce is my best buddy. He’s always meowing and ready for cuddles as soon as I walk in the apartment. As much as he LOVES playing with feathers and ribbon toys and chasing laser pointers and balls, he truly adores just snuggling. In fact, this fulltime people puss loves snuggling more than food. And that’s saying a lot!

“Blessed with a silly side, I can almost hear him saying, ‘Do not go for the tummy if it’s offered. It’s a trap!’ And of course, his preferred place to sleep each night is at the foot of my bed.”
