“I adopted Gigi (formerly Roxie) a year ago,” explains Heather, previous Foster Coordinator for Furry Friends, “and she’s the only foster kitten we’ve ever kept. She joined her older brother, Gilligan, and her sister, Ginger, both from the Oregon Humane Society.

“She was drawn to us from the very beginning. She would purr when we picked her up even before her eyes were open. She was always the first of all the kittens to hop into my lap. She chirps and blinks, but doesn’t meow.

“She’s extremely affectionate and loves to be carried around the house. She prefers to sleep on us or cuddled up with Gilligan. Her funniest quirk is the way she loves to try and ‘groom’ us — especially if we’re asleep or have wet hair. There’s nothing quite like having your hair yanked by a fluffy, purring cat.

“She’s very sweet and affectionate. We really can’t imagine our home without her.”
