“My fiancé and I adopted Salem from Furry Friends in August 2022,” says Holly. “And while we liked her original name well enough, we decided to re-name her Mango. Not only that, we fell head over heels in love with her instantly.

“We have one other cat named Max who was getting lonely, and Mango has been the ideal playmate for him. They simply love playing and snuggling together — it’s just the sweetest bond imaginable. Mango is so affectionate and so talkative that we always know when she’s in the room. Although she never stays still for very long, we can tell when she’s tired because she’ll just curl up and snuggle on one of us.

“Blessed with the loudest purr, she would LOVE to be petted 24/7! When she’s not sleeping, she’s either playing with her favorite toy (a stuffed felt carrot) or sneaking up on her brother.

“We are both so grateful to Furry Friends for helping us find the perfect kitty for our family.”
