Volunteers Needed for Acro-Cats Show

The Acro-Cats are coming May 25 and 26 and Furry Friends is looking for volunteers to work at the shows. Every volunteer will get to see the show for free which is a $22 to $39 value.

We provided the volunteer effort last time they were in town and we received a check for $920.

We need to commit soon if we are going to do this. Please contact Debbie Baughman if you are interested in helping information@furryfriendswa.org

Yes! We are VERY excited to come back to Portland and work with you all again. Our shows are booked again at the Aladdin Theater from 5/25 3pm 7pm shows and 5/26 1pm 5pm shows.  The facebook event is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1817654261695209/

We have plenty of time to work out a full partnership this time but our guidelines have changed a bit since we have had a lot of changes to our organization.  Below is how our partnership works:

Every show schedule is different, but we know we will need the following shifts filled as listed above (subject to change):

CATurday shows

  • Load in shift 9am – 1pm
  • 3pm show shift from 1pm – 5pm
  • 7pm show shift from 5pm – 9pm

Sunday shows

  • 1pm show shift from 11am-3pm
  • 5pm show shift from 3pm – 7pm
  • Load out shift from 7pm – midnight

Cat pushing a glittery purple cartPlease note that the show shifts have a 2 hour show in the middle of it that the volutneers basically dont have to work during.  There is a bit right before and right after the show but they will pretty much get to see the show for free.  This show sells out so we need to confirm the volunteer list ahead of time to make sure we don’t go over capacity in the venue.  I seem to remember that volunteers are not an issue for you all but for us, getting those load in and load out shifts is a challenge but are vital to the show being a success, so we need to get them filled in order for the partnership to be successful.   For this show they are way easier to fill since they are Saturday and Sunday shifts, and reminder everyone who volunteers gets to see the show for free too!

Thank mew and looking furward!
