Darling and Isis: An Incredible Journey

Darling and Iris greeted by their Canadian sitterDarling and Isis, two of Furry Friends special rescues, were adopted by a lady in Canada. After the death of her beloved kitty of 17 years, the lady searched far and wide for the perfect cat. When she saw the picture of Darling, she knew immediately she had to have her. She also adopted the green-eyed Isis so that Darling would have company. So how do you get two cats from Vancouver, WA, to an island in Canada? With two flights, a ferry, lots of driving and planning, and Furry Friends volunteer CK as chaperon. When the cats arrived in Canada they were met at the airport by their new sitter and new brother Clifford the dog (watching from the front seat of the vehicle). Darling and Isis are living happily ever after in a beautiful home on a 7-acre Alpaca farm joining Clifford, three other kitties, and 16 Alpacas! CK (volunteer)
