“Although she was originally called Sweetheart when we adopted her, we chose to re-name her Bonnie instead,” Erica Lee explains.
“While she entered our home as an extremely shy and scared kitty, she opened up quickly and blossomed. We have two other cats and two small children, and not only did Bonnie promptly begin interacting with the cats, she instantly fell in love with our children.
“During the day, she loves sleeping downstairs to be near the children and me. She also loves watching the children play, and whenever I go upstairs to wake up my oldest son, she follows me faithfully into his room. And although both of our cats love Bonnie, one of them, Koda, has now bonded with her. They’re always bathing each other and cuddling together.
“Bonnie also loves greeting us when we come home, and because she’s so wonderfully social, she especially enjoys greeting all of our visitors and guests.
“At night, she and Koda always sleep together on our bed. She’s such a great cat and has fit so easily into our home and our lives. We love her so much.”
