“WE LOVE OUR PETS” LICENSE PLATES

DRIVE WITH A PURPOSE! Introducing The Federation’s newly redesigned SPAY ~ NEUTER ~ ADOPT specialty license plate. With each purchase or renewal, $28 of the fee collected by the Department of Licensing goes directly to The Federation to be granted quarterly to Washington animal agencies for the purpose of increasing spay/neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits.

Since the introduction of our first specialty plate in 2007, The Federation has awarded more than $612,000 in spay/neuter grant funds to qualifying animal welfare organizations, resulting in more than 17,000 spay/neuter surgeries for pets of low-income households and feral or free-roaming cats.

Each year nearly 150,000 cats and dogs find themselves in shelters across Washington. Spaying and neutering is the most humane and effective method for reducing the number of homeless pets, and provides significant health and behavioral benefits. For more information, and to order yours, see Washington State DOL - Spay Neuter Adopt.
