Come with your family and friends to enjoy live music, delicious food, and of course to come by our Furry Friends booth to see our adoptable cats.

The Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair at Esther Short Park will showcase the hard work and creative spirit of individuals, social justice groups, peace organizations, faith communities, performers, artists, businesses, and environmental activists who are making the world a better place.

Admission is free! Bring the family! During the day, there will be many activities going on at the same time. At the stage, there will be a series of events including music, dance and poetry. Around the park, groups will have exhibit spaces for tables. Children’s activities will be happening throughout the day.

Furry Friends is always looking for volunteers to help with the kitties at  Park Events. Send us an email at  information@furryfriendswa.org  if you would like to help.

Zombie Cats from Mars

A Portland-based independent film production company, MWB3 Problems, has teamed up with Furry Friends to make this incredible, totally serious and realistic horror movie about zombie cats from Mars who must consume human brains in order to gain the knowledge to take over the universe! Our Furry Friends ‘Celebricats’, did a great job on the set, but Big Boy, Nico, Peggy Sue, and Ulysses aren’t sharing any secrets so you’ll just have to check out the results for yourself.

The movie was released in June 2015 and the first of three Southwest Washington showings had a great turnout, raising over $500 in ticket sales and donations for Furry Friends!  The first screening was at The Kiggins Theatre in downtown Vancouver on Thursday, June 11, 2015. Stay tuned! We will let you know when and where future showings will be.
