Leo and the McCrackens: Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail
“We were looking for ‘the right match’ for our cat Finley (formerly Plum whom we adopted from Furry Friends four years ago), who became very lonely after the passing of our other cat last April,” explains Krista. “The description of Leo said that he followed the older cats around, so we thought that this little guy would make friends with our Finley.
“We waited 10 days before allowing a face-to-face introduction. While Leo wasn’t bothered by Finley’s growling whatsoever, my spouse and I were worried. And yet, within a day or two of that initial introduction, we felt comfortable allowing them to be alone together.
“Leo cured Finley’s loneliness, so mission accomplished! He’s a very sweet boy and keeps us endlessly entertained. Leo loves to follow Finley around. His motto: Where my brother goes, so shall I! They play together and chase each other, but Leo is usually the one doing the chasing.
“While Leo loves to play with his people and Finley, he’s also fairly good at entertaining himself with the many toys that are lying around the house. And although Leo likes to cuddle, it’s with so much energy that it doesn't last long unless he’s ready for a nap.
“What he enjoys most, though, is playing fetch with spring toys. He’s so stinkin’ cute running around with the toy in his mouth! I often call him my shadow because he just has to be a part of whatever I’m doing. Not to mention the fact that Leo’s meow is one of the sweetest I’ve ever heard.”
And where does lovable Leo sleep at night? “Leo either sleeps at the top of his cat tower or in bed with us.”
