Violet and Genevieve Ham: Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail
“I adopted Mama Hubbard last January from Furry Friends and promptly changed her name to Violet,” explains one very appreciative Genevieve.
“She has been an absolute joy and Godsend! I adopted her just over a month after I lost my kitty Pepin that I had had for almost 19 years. I was so sad and lost, but this little bundle of joy was and is such a bright spot in my life.
“Since it’s only the two of us, Violet and I have adapted to living together so well. She’s the friendliest little girl (just 6 pounds) and always greets me with the warmest of welcomes when I get home. She loves playing with toy mice, and there are probably 30 of them strategically placed around our home. She also loves chasing the feather-on-a-fishing-pole toys.
“I work from home, and Violet has a cat tree in my office that she usually curls up on during the day. To say this makes the day so much better would be an understatement. Then, at night, she sleeps between my legs and stays as close to me as she can.
“I’m so thankful that I found Violet through Furry Friends. I can’t imagine my life without her, and I’m so grateful that Furry Friends made this ‘happily-ever-after tail’ possible!
