Choreo and Natalie Berry : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“While Choreo isn’t our first kitty, he is our first foster fail,” explains Natalie.

“Since we were his foster family and he came from a litter of “C” names, we named him and kept it: Oreo with a “C,” and certainly as sweet. My kiddos and I fell in love with him on the same day. First, my oldest said that she loved him and wanted to keep him, and then my second one said the same thing. I already loved him because he would stare at me intensely with his big blue eyes. I joked that we could keep him on the condition that his eyes didn’t change color. (I knew they would since he was so small). On adoption day, every kitten was pre-adopted except for Choreo. We took it as a sign that he was ours, and we couldn’t have been more delighted!

“Choreo brings so much fun and happiness to our lives. He’s the best kitten to have around because he helps socialize our other foster kittens. He’s playful, chaotic and cuddly, and we love everything about him. Currently, one of our foster kittens only likes Choreo, and they’re very good friends. In fact, we have five other cats and a dog, and Choreo gets along with all of them!

“He loves to climb, and had the best time playing in our Christmas tree. He also loves strings, feather toys and … puzzles like opening the butter dish! As much as he loves cuddles and pets, Choreo can be equally aloof and independent. And he LOVES food! When he was younger, he would jump onto your back to see what mischief he could get into. He’s grown out of that now but he’s still insistent about getting ‘treats’ from anyone eating in his vicinity.

“At night, Choreo prefers sleeping in his cat bed by the window/pellet stove. When I don’t have any foster kittens in my room, he joins me there.”
