Cookie and Lincoln and Tasha Stewart: Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail
“I’ve always had cats in my life,” explains Tasha.
“I came to Furry Friends to meet two sisters, but after meeting every cat-friendly cat and being unable to choose, these two brothers, Lincoln and Cookie (originally Loki) were suggested to me. I’ve never had boy cats and was a bit reluctant, but I trusted the people who knew the kitties. They were very shy and would probably do well in my quiet house.
“Cookie was at home within a few weeks, but Lincoln remained incredibly shy. He lived in a closet for at least three months and only came out at night. After five months, he made a big move to sit on the couch with me. Happily, he’s continued to make big strides, is a ‘velcro’ kitty now, and follows me everywhere!
“These two brothers are both so playful and silly and cuddly and sweet. They are also excellent timekeepers. I’m convinced that I could turn off my morning alarm and never use a watch again with these two in my life! They love ALL toys, but wands and springs are the best. Cookie plays a cute game: he pats me and I have to guess what he wants (it’s usually food). They both love cuddling and pets, but Lincoln also loves being brushed and treated like a sweet prince. However, neither of them likes to be picked up.”
As for their cutest quirks: “Lincoln doesn’t meow, he squeaks, while Cookie teaches Lincoln ‘cool cat stuff’ like how to pat a person to get something. And at night, where else would they sleep? On ME!”
