Tippi and Mandy Beeman and Sean Wynn : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail
“Sean and I adopted Tippi from Furry Friends to join our two male cats, Batman, a black Turkish Angora and Thursday, a Tuxedo Norwegian Forest,” Mandy explains. “In fact, Tippi’s entire litter was named after Hitchcock actors!
“We know the people who have Tippi’s sister. When Tippi was returned to the shelter, our friend told us that she was available, and we promptly made her ours. Her adjustment to living with us has been a gradual one, but she’s been coming out of her shell more each day and has been making friends with Batman and Thursday.
“Tippi is not only an absolute delight to have in our home, she’s an attentive and affectionate cuddlebug who’s clearly chosen Sean as her human! I’m never neglected, though, because she’s always eager to lie on someone. She also likes standing on the stairs at eye level with us in order to be petted.
“As for her brothers: Thursday is a true spitfire who’s often starting spats. He likes to play rather roughly, and while Batman handles him easily enough, Tippi has made it known when she’s in the mood and when she’s not. But now that she’s more comfortable around them, all three chase each other through the house while we keep a watchful eye out so that we can intervene if needed.
“While we’re always looking for new ways to keep our trio entertained, Tippi is particularly fond of a certain stick toy and loves throwing around the smaller toys on the floor. She also has a tent that she loves to fall asleep in. One of her most endearing quirks is the fact that she’s slightly cross-eyed, and every time she looks up, it’s ever so adorable. On the other hand, she tries to eat everyone’s food, but we’ve been slowly breaking her of that habit.
“At night, Tippi has several select sleeping spots. She likes to sleep on the couch, on the stairs, under an apothecary cabinet that I have, and in our bed when the sun starts coming through the window.”
