River and Chip and the Dangleis family : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“Our family was fortunate enough to have adopted two cats from Furry Friends,” says Sandy. “We adopted River in October of 2024 and Chip, formerly Chatter, in January of 2025.

“We first saw River at PetSmart and thought she was beautiful. We were looking for another cat and we believed she would be a perfect fit. Although she was quite shy at first, she quickly won all of our hearts with her sweet and independent personality.

“Then, in January, we read about Chatter, looked at his picture, and instantly knew that he simply had to be part of our family. He’s a playful and cuddly little guy who loves nothing more than being the center of attention. To our delight – and amusement -- Chip and River behave like true siblings! Sometimes River loves playing with little Chip, while at other times, she loves putting Chip in his place. They always sleep near each other and always hang out together on the windowsills, gazing intently at the wide world outside.

“We are beyond grateful to Furry Friends and the amazing foster families who rescued, treated and provided refuge for River and Chip.”
