Yuki and William : Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

And now, for a feline twist on a Furry Friends Fur-ever Tail:

“Meow, all. My name is Yuki, formerly Sequoia, which I use as my middle name. I recently adopted William who has a special fondness for Japan. He told me that Yuki means ‘snow’ and ‘happiness’ in Japanese. How awesome paw-some is that!

“When we first met, I was extremely shy and ambivalent about going home with him. In all honesty, I not only pretended to ignore him, I might even have shown him how sharp my claws are. Why, you ask? Quite simply, I loved my Furry Friends family. Everyone was ever so nice to me, I had numerous kitty companions, my favorite bed and blanket and, best of all, my favorite window perch.

“One month later, William visited me again. He felt badly that I hadn’t yet found my fur-ever home and suggested we give it a try. Much to my delight, Furry Friends thoughtfully allowed me to take my favorite bed, blanket and toy to my new home. But when we got there, I hid under the bed for two days, making certain that I was safe and that William could be trusted.

“Guess what? William is FUN! He plays with me all the time. He loves to pet and cuddle and tell me funny stories, and I love to purr for him. He enjoys talking to me as much as I enjoy talking to him. I always wake him up at 5:30 AM with a big ‘hello’ and we talk back and forth all day, never running out of topics to discuss. He truly loves me and I truly love him.

“My bed and blanket are now on William’s bed. Sometimes I curl up there or make biscuits for William, which he really likes. Sometimes I sleep next to him and sometimes I get under the covers and sleep between William’s feet. He’s very warm and it’s so comforting when I’m cold.

“I couldn’t be happier in my new home! There are so many windows, and I love watching the birds, ducks and geese. The geese are so big. If I could go outside, I would show them who’s the boss! But William says they’re not very friendly and that I must remain inside. No worries! I simply pretend to stalk them from behind the glass while demonstrating my superior hunting skills by catching spiders instead.

“In closing: William is a wonderful companion. I LOVE my new home, I LOVE William and I’ve definitely decided to keep him fur-ever. Thanks, Furry Friends! Many merry meows from me to everyone there.”
