Thank You Julie Baldino

A licensed realtor since 2003, Julie Baldino started her own business, Front Door Realty, in 2011. Front Door Realty is unique in that it’s a Certified Woman Owned Business.

“Although female realtors outnumber male realtors, there were and still are very few women who own the brokerages,” Julie explains. “Our agents work in SW Washington and the Portland Metro areas. We specialize in residential listings, are loud and proud allies of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and are passionate about helping people build wealth in real estate. Handing keys to someone who’s the first in their lineage to own a home is such an honor!”

Being a lifelong animal lover, Julie got involved with Furry Friends because she was both drawn to our mission and impressed by the dedication of our staff and volunteers. The happy result was that she became a Platinum Sponsor in 2018 as a way for her, her employees and their company to give back to the community.

“I’m always so impressed when visiting how spotlessly clean the facilities are and how well cared for the kitties are,” Julie says. “And my favorite part about being involved with Furry Friends is, hands down, hearing all of their success stories! My biggest challenge is not getting more cats every time cute ones are posted on their social media platforms. I miss having cats SO much but, unfortunately, my three large and challenging rescue dogs I love with all of my heart don’t do well with cats. (I’ve lost three pets: two cats, aged 18 and 19 and a black lab, aged 20). My animals are everything to me.

“Seeing how wise and kind my children have become makes me so very, very proud,” she continues. “As for my hobbies and interests? I’m a trained crystal healer. I love crafting/making beautiful things. I’m a fairly good floral designer (I did this before real estate). But my favorite pastime is being with my three dogs at my beach house in Newport, OR. This is the house I donate to the auction every year. I’ve even made friends with and feed a flock of crows that actually come to me when I call!”
