Freyja and Kestrel Reynolds: Furry Friends Fur-Ever Tail

“Freyja, formerly Bubbles, is my partner’s and my second kitty,” says Kestrel.

“When I saw Freyja’s photos on the Furry Friends website and read about her personality, I felt in my gut that she was the kitty for us! We did an in-person meeting at the shelter to see if she liked us. It took her a few minutes to become accustomed to having us in the room, but after that, she was giving us head boops and cuddles. It was instant love!

“Although it took several days for our other cat to get used to having her here, by the fourth day they were happily playing and sleeping in the same area. Now they truly love one another! It’s so gratifying and so heartwarming to watch them interacting together, behaving as though they’ve always been the best of friends.

“Having Freyja in our home has been such a joy and gift! Because she loves attention, she loves spending time with us, thrives on cuddles and pets, and isn’t shy about making sure that she gets them either – which I adore. Not only does she keep us smiling with her adorable little meows, whenever she wants attention, she’ll make a very specific high-pitched chirping sound. She also loves wand toys and any kind of shiny, crinkly toys that she can chase.

“Famous for putting her paw on top of my hand when we go to sleep at night, Freyja sleeps in bed with us and our other kitty.”
